Aloha Parents:
As you prepare for the college admissions process along with your children, you know there’s a great deal of good things to share about your student, BUT their test scores arenʻt so great, and their GPA is just okay. WHAT IF colleges considered other non-academic skills like grit, perseverance and determination? What about their optimism and gratitude? Or their self-discipline and zest for life? Research shows that these character qualities and habits may be equally, if not more important than cognitive measurements like test scores and transcripts as a recipe for a successful and fulfilling life in college and beyond.
