Volunteers are the lifeline of many organizations and schools. Volunteer hours and efforts contribute to the success of countless programs here at Kamehameha ranging from one parent in a classroom reading to a child, 50 parents running on the field at football games assisting the marching band or hundreds of parents and friends working together at Ho‘olaule‘a every year. Join the ranks of dedicated parents, family and friends and enjoy the satisfaction of helping students learn and grow.
In order to accomplish this, Kamehameha Schools REQUIRES that all volunteers who come in direct contact with students complete the following:
- Application to Volunteer-KS Kapālama – Form “A” – (submitted yearly).
- Authorization for KS to conduct a Criminal History Record Check (included on the bottom of the volunteer application form).
- TB Screening Questionnaire – Form “B”- (submitted yearly).
- TB Skin Test Certificate – TB test done within the last 12 months and chest x-rays within last six (6) years are accepted.
A TB test may be obtained from our Medical Services departments on campus at Hale Ola or our KES dispensary. Please present your TB Questionnaire Form to the KS medical staff at the time of TB testing to give them authorization to do the test.
Please be sure to complete the appropriate application form(s) below.
