Soon we will be celebrating 99 years of a tradition that Kamehameha families and friends have enjoyed and looked forward to for so many years. From its humble beginnings at Bishop Museum to its tremendous growth at Konia Circle, the Kamehameha Schools' Ho‘olaule'a has been a standing tradition for our lāhui to come together and support nā pua a Pauahi.

This year our theme comes from that heritage of those who came before us.

"Kūpa‘a no kakou" means "We are resilient."

Hoʻolauleʻa is our largest annual fundraising event and it is a longstanding tradition that many look forward to attending and supporting each year. Monies raised provide students with grants for enrichment opportunities, special events, competition, and educational travel.

Ho‘olaule‘a has three primary goals:

  • To strengthen the Kamehameha Kapālama family and our sense of community and place as we gather together as a K-12 ‘ohana.
  • To raise funds for student enrichment grants.
  • To have FUN!
