Kapiolani Community College is currently accepting applications for the King William Charles Lunalilo Scholars Program. Each scholar receives 100% tuition and fees, books, supplies and a UPass to attend Kapi’olani Community College for the 2015-2016 academic year. Through scholarship, community, and academic and personal support, the Lunalilo Scholars build a solid foundation for success in the first year of college.
This is a unique program whose mission is to provide opportunities for transformative college experiences for students who have not considered higher education as a viable alternative because of financial or other barriers limiting college access. Previous scholars have ranged in age from 18 to 53 and came from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
