Kamehameha Schools Financial Aid & Scholarships Services

Kamehameha Schools provides scholarships for higher education through it’s Financial Aid & Scholarships Services department to qualified Native Hawaiians.

Ke Alii Pauahi Foundation

The Ke Alii Pauahi Foundation administers donor-funded endowed scholarships for Native Hawaiians seeking higher education.

Hawai’i Community Foundation

Hawai‘i Community Foundation's scholarship program consists of over 150 different scholarship funds to assist Hawai‘i's residents in obtaining a college education. Students apply to the program and, if eligible, can be awarded from one or more of these funds.


The Gromet Foundation

The Gromet Foundation provides college scholarships to graduates from high schools in the State of Hawaii. The Gromet scholarships are both need-based and merit-based. Successful applicants are financially disadvantaged while at the same time have shown very high academic ability. The website also contains a link to additional sources of scholarships for Hawai'i students.


Kua'ana Merit Scholarship

Kua'ana Native Hawaiian Student Development Services at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa offers scholarships to students planning on attending the UH Manoa after high school.  For more information or for an application contact Ku'umeaaloha Gomes, Director, at 956-5945. 

Chaminade University Native Hawaiian Scholarships

Chaminade University in Honolulu offers several scholarships specifically for Native Hawaiian new or transfer students.  If you belong to a Hawaiian Civic Club, live on Hawaiian Homelands, or have graduated from a Hawaiian-focused charter school or immersion school, then you can apply for one or more of these scholarships!
