Aloha & Welcome
Kamehameha's 84th Annual Ho‘olaule‘a will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The sophomore class of 2016 has been given the honor of organizing and hosting this unique event. We recognize that such an event has been cherished over these many years and we want to continue the tradition. This year's theme, E pūlama ‘ia, e ho‘omau ‘ia lā, "Cherish what we have, now and forever," keeps us focused on cherishing those things that bring future growth. It calls us to protect and hold close the gift of Pauahi with love.
It also reminds us to cherish our ‘ohana as our Hawaiian people move through times of change. It challenges us to take our most cherished gifts and shape the future of Hawai‘i nei.
Ho‘olaule‘a 2014 is our time to join together in celebration, as we honor our past, care for what we have, and assure it lasts for future generations. Your participation this year will help to further enrich our haumana in the paths of our ancestors and apply that knowledge to their future.
