School Collaborators support the Pauahi Keiki Scholars and Kipona Scholarship programs by providing Native Hawaiian keiki educational opportunities in non-Kamehameha private schools throughout the State of Hawai'i.

Preschools and Private K-12 schools that would like to become a School Collaborator are welcome to view the information on the website.

How Can My Private School Become a KS Collaborator??

Request for Institution Eligibility Form - Only schools that submitted a PKS Preschool or Kipona Scholarship Provider Information form and were subsequently notified of ineligibility may complete a Request for Institutional Eligibility form. This form represents the schools opportunity to request KS to reconsider its original decision of ineligibility.

Submit the completed form and all applicable supporting documentation within 10 business days from the date of the mailed notification letter. Decision notification will be mailed within 45 days from the receipt of these documents. Submissions do not guarantee approval.

Pauahi Keiki Scholars (PKS) Preschool

KS’ Pauahi Keiki Scholars (PKS) Preschool scholarship program provides need-based scholarships for students to attend non-KS Preschools in Hawai'i. Preschool keiki three years of age and older attending or enrolling in participating PKS preschools may apply for PKS scholarships. Award priority is given to keiki closest to kindergarten entry. Previously awarded students must reapply for funds each year.

Kipona Scholarship Program

Kamehameha Schools Kipona Scholarship Program (formerly known as the Pauahi Keiki Scholars [PKSK] Kindergarten Scholarship program) provides need-based scholarship opportunities for students to attend non-KS Private Schools in Hawai'i. Eligible Kindergarten-aged keiki attending or enrolling in participating Private schools may apply for a scholarships. Previously awarded students must reapply for funds each year.
