Internship stipends for Kamehameha Schools' (KS) Kāpili ʻOihana Internship Program (KOIP) are administered and awarded by KS Financial Aid and Scholarship Services. Stipends are available to applicants placed at eligible KOIP Internships. Paid positions or positions at Kamehameha Schools' sites or affiliates are ineligible. Stipend awards are subject to availability of funds.

We are currently reviewing all applications. Response letters will be mailed mid-May, 2013 all completed Internship Applications that meet eligibility requirements shall be considered for a stipend for the Summer 2013 internship period.
Eligibility
- Be a Hawai`i resident
- Be currently enrolled as a college or university student
- Be an applicant for a non-paid internship position with an eligible KOIP site
- Will not be receiving any other financial support (including other stipends) for this internship opportunity
- Not related to any employee including supervisor, director, officer or executive at the participating KOIP site
- Internships at Kamehameha Schools sites or its affiliates are not eligible for a stipend
- Completed application mailed to Applicant Services postmarked by deadline, Friday, February 22, 2013
Stipend Information:
- Stipends may be awarded to eligible KOIP interns only
- Awarded interns must complete all program requirements
- Payment is mailed directly to the intern in October 2013
- Stipends are subject to IRS tax rules and Tax document 1099-Misc will be generated and mailed in January 2014
