As we begin our new school year, we would like to offer our PKS ‘ohana additional opportunities to participate in Community Service and Volunteer activities.
To inquire about upcoming events, simple click on the title found under the “available opportunities” list (to the right) of this page for further details. You are required to reserve space by calling the number indicated on each of the listed programs or registering with your name and email. Space is limited by activity. We encourage you to frequently visit our web site frequently for updates on upcoming events.
Pauahi Keiki Scholars - Preschool (PKS) ‘Ohana
Attendance of the various events can be used towards your required community service / workshop hours. As a reminder, Parent(s)/Legal Guardian(s) are expected to perform a minimum of three (3) hours of volunteer work for your child’s preschool each quarter for each child awarded. In addition, you are expected to perform a minimum of eight (8) hours of community service/Nohana Activities during the school year for each child awarded (as noted in the 2009/2010 Terms and Conditions).
Don’t forget to submit a completed and signed Parent Quarterly Report form (PQR) to:

Pauahi Keiki Scholars - Kindergarten (PKSK) ‘Ohana
Although Volunteer and Community Service is not required for PKSK award recipients, we highly encourage awarded ‘ohana to take part in these activities as an opportunity for your keiki to learn about their rich Hawaiian heritage as well as giving back to the Hawaiian community.
